7-Day Refund Policy

We offer a transparent 7-day refund policy. Refunds are prioritized for cases where a technical error occurs, the parser fails, or the service does not meet reasonable expectations based on the provided input.

All refund requests are reviewed manually so we can handle real product issues fairly while preventing refund abuse.

Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, all of the following conditions must be met:

• The refund request must be submitted within 7 days of your purchase date.
• The request must reflect genuine dissatisfaction with the optimization results. A reason for dissatisfaction is required with every refund request.
• For bundle plans (Complete Fix, Multi-Role Fix), no more than one credit may have been used. Refunds are void if more than one credit in a bundle has been consumed.
• The optimized resume must not have been shared with third-party resume-writing services or used for resale purposes.
• We may decline repeated refund requests that show a pattern of abuse.

Optimization vs. Writing From Scratch

ResumePolish is an optimization platform. Our optimization system is designed to improve your existing resume for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and make your relevant skills easier to see.

We do not guarantee the invention of new experience out of thin air if the original uploaded document lacks sufficient detail. Refunds requested because the system "didn't create enough new information" from a substantially blank or sparse upload are not eligible.

Preview Acknowledgement

Website purchases normally include a resume preview before payment. Purchases through approved third-party assistants may show only a limited score preview before payment; the complete optimized resume remains locked until payment. Both purchase flows remain covered by this 7-day refund policy under the eligibility terms above.

Because a preview is provided before purchase, style preference or cosmetic formatting differences are not considered valid reasons for a refund. Refunds are intended for cases where the optimization quality or service experience does not meet reasonable expectations.

Technical Errors

Refund requests are prioritized when a technical error occurs—for example, if the system fails to generate a readable file, produces a blank or corrupted PDF, or the service experiences an outage during your session. Include relevant error messages or screenshots in your request.

How to Request a Refund

Use our support form or email support@resumepolish.app with:

• Subject line — "Refund Request"
• Payment confirmation or transaction ID — So we can locate your purchase.
• Reason for dissatisfaction — Required. Describe what was unsatisfactory about the optimization results. Requests without a stated reason will not be processed.

Processing Time

• We will review and acknowledge your request within 3–5 business days.
• If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method for the full purchase price. It may take 5–10 business days to appear.

What Is Not Covered

• Requests made more than 7 days after the purchase date.
• Requests without a stated reason for dissatisfaction.
• Bundle plans where more than one credit has been used.
• Expectation that the service will write a complete resume from a blank or substantially empty upload.
• Style or formatting preferences because a preview is shown before purchase.
• Cases where the optimized resume was shared with third-party resume-writing services or used for resale.
• Dissatisfaction with job application outcomes—ResumePolish cannot guarantee employment results.
• Repeated refund requests that show a clear pattern of abuse.

Fair Use Policy

ResumePolish is intended for personal job-search use. We may decline refunds and suspend accounts that show patterns of abuse, including:

• Repeated purchases and refund requests that clearly show abuse of the policy.
• Using the service to generate resumes for commercial resale or third-party resume-writing services.
• Downloading optimized content and immediately requesting a refund without a legitimate quality concern.
• Attempts to bypass refund limits or account restrictions.

We track usage data such as credits consumed, downloads, and session activity to verify refund eligibility. Abuse may result in permanent denial of service.

Refund Amounts

Approved refunds are issued for the full purchase price paid at checkout and returned to the original payment method.
